Cheekbone Beauty Founder Jenn Harper On Indigenous Representation In The Beauty Industry, Sustainability & More

“Indigenous people are protecting, in 2021, 80 per cent of the world’s biodiversity,” Jenn Harper told Elise Gasbarrino on this week’s episode of Let’s Talk About.

Jenn is the founder and CEO of Cheekbone Beauty, a DTC beauty brand that encourages and allows Indigenous youths to see themselves represented in the beauty industry.

Cheekbone has made a socially conscious decision to use and promote sustainable products and packaging, creating a new movement into the future of economically-friendly makeup.

The inclusivity that Cheekbone Beauty promotes stems from a very important question posed by Jenn: “Why can’t we just have a real person wearing the products without overly filtering or photoshopping the images?

It’s no wonder why Jenn is an award-winning social entrepreneur and premier advocate for the Indigenous community. On Let’s Talk About, she discusses the importance of Indigenous representation in the beauty industry and the priority that she places on sustainability.
